The Admissions Process

Presentations and Tours:
Throughout the months of October and November, Keefe Tech student ambassadors, along with the Admissions staff, make presentations to eighth graders about the many opportunities available at Keefe Tech. Students have the opportunity to tour Keefe, with transportation provided by Keefe Technical School. Interested students accompanied by their counselors are led on an extensive tour of each career and technical training program Keefe has to offer.

Open House
The Annual Open House is held in mid-November. Families and students are welcome to enjoy a breakfast put on by our Culinary Arts students as well as visit all the career and technical programs. Parents may attend presentations from school administrators, teachers, the special education department and students.

Application Process
A Keefe Tech application is available from the guidance department at all sending schools, the Keefe Tech Guidance Office (508-416-2270), or through the Keefe Tech website.

All completed grade eight Keefe Tech applications are given to the sending school guidance counselor. The guidance counselor completes the recommendation on the back of the application and attaches the necessary records. The following information needs to be submitted with the application:

  • Applicant’s grades
  • Attendance record
  • Discipline/conduct record

Grade eight students who apply for admission to Keefe Tech will be interviewed on site at their sending school by Keefe Tech admissions staff.*

*Any transfer applicant must make an appointment to be interviewed at Keefe Technical School accompanied by their parent/guardian.
